Cuttings

Although not a typical post I'm completely taken by the texture of this. The process would have made for a great video...I'll keep hunting for one.

Frequent collaborators, Vincent Breed and Matali Crasset, paired up once again for the making of Cuttings. Together they dismantled tree branches and assembled small bundles of tightly bound twigs that would act as moulds. Molten glass was then blown into the bundles, charring the wood but taking its form and texture.
