Peanut Butter Floor by Wim T. Schippers

"Museum personnel smear the floor with peanut butter, as they prepare the art installation 'Peanut-Butter Platform' at the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. The artwork called Peanut-Butter Platform by Dutch artist Wim T. Schippers was acquired by the Museum last December and will exhibit the work publicly from 05 March 2011."

Schippers' peanut butter installation is part of a series of floor sculptures. The series conceived in the early 60's includes a floor covered in salt and another "sculpture" of broken pieces of sheet glass.

This poor man along with ruining his shoes was slapped with a hefty fine for disrupting the floor.

"If you see a tree you don't wonder: 'what is this tree about?' It just is." I really admire his unpretentious appreciation.
